Elisa was selected to participate in the Ivana Chubbuck Masterclass in London. She performed the role of Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Ernest, and was so inspired by Ivana and her work that she will be attending The Chubbuck School in LA later in the year.
Elisa's solo performance in The Profit Cost is still winning her wide acclaim. The film has just won the "Best Short Film" at the Cinewest International Film Festival and was also nominated for "Best Short Film" at the Perbeck International Film Fetival. It was official selection in the 15th Annual Portobello Film Festival, the 49th Malta International Film Festival and the Two Short Night Film fest.
Elisa's latest film,Deux et Misericordia, which she also wrote, is just completing post production. It is set for the festival circuit throughout 2011 and was produced and shot in LA with Hnarakis Entertainment LLC.
BACKGROUND
Elisa was born in New Zealand but by age three was living in Tokyo. After graduating high school back in New Zealand she got her first audition and worked in a lead role on a major New Zealand TV series for a year in Jackson's Wharf.
At 19, she flew to New York for 3 months training at Uta Hagen's HB Studio. In 2000 Elisa was given a place at The Actors Centre full time acting school in Sydney where she studied for two years.
After graduating she worked extensively in Sydney and around Australia in Theatre, Film and doing commercials and voice-overs until 2007 when she moved to the UK. Elisa now resides and works in London.

SINGING
Elisa was trained classically for eight years. For the past 7 years she has performed mainly in jazz and has sung everywhere from a luncheon for the New Zealand Prime Minister to weddings and intimate gigs at jazz bars.
